Nigel Kennedy in Concert at St Peter’s Belsize Park

Local residents were truly entertained in a fully packed house at St Peter's Church by Belsize resident Nigel Kennedy and his band in the true Nigel Kennedy tradition. Fantastic music, masterfully played with tremendous energy and verve.

The recital featured a number of pieces by Bach, and in the second half we were treated to delightful compositions and pieces by Nigel including Melody in the Wind.

Belsize residents are indeed most fortunate that such talent resides in our midst. With its excellent acoustics, St Peter’s Church is an ideal venue for such a special event.

The concert was in aid of the Heath & Hampstead Society and St Peter’s Garden at St Peter’s Church in Belsize Park. Nigel says that he walks his dogs on Hampstead Heath – which he regards as one of the most beautiful open spaces – and that he passes St Peter’s every day when he’s in London.
